Volunteers -FID is always looking for volunteers to assist in The Gambia. Volunteers with or without experience always welcome. We require builders, nurses , doctors, midwives, plumbers, electricians and anyone who just has the desire to volunteer. Volunteers can travel to The Gambia to see first hand the work that FID carries out in The Gambia. A minimum of one week is expected of volunteers travelling to The Gambia.
Fundraising– FID welcomes fundraising ideas throughout the year. Why not organise an event with your friends where you can have fun as well as fundraise for a worthy cause. Fundraising ideas always welcome. You are welcome to fundraise for a trip to The Gambia where you can have the opportunity to work with local people living in Mariama Kunda.
Donate – We urgently need hospital equipments and pharmaceutical products for the clinic in Mariama Kunda. We also welcome clothes, shoes, furniture, etc. Contact us to find out more about the items we are interested in.
Donations can be made through PayPal or through the charity’s account.
Schools – We welcome fundraising activities such as non-uniform days, cake sale, quizzes, etc.
Companies – Companies and organisations can join us in building a much needed orphanage in The Gambia, donate hospital equipments, pharmaceutical products or any other products that may make a difference to the lives of families living in Mariama Kunda.
